Ship waste

The Port of Grenland welcomes you to new environmental friendly facilities for the handling of ship waste. All public and most of the private ports offer these services. The facilities were established to comply with the EU directives implemented in Norwegian law under the Pollution Control Regulations and to facilitate source separation and recycling. The waste reception scheme will be self-financed.
